Use Wi-Fi, get better grades. That's the message of a survey of U.S. college students, with three out of five respondents saying they wouldn't attend a college that doesn't have Wi-Fi. 79% of the students say college would be much harder without Wi-Fi. The survey of 501 students has been conducted by Wakefield Research for the Wi-Fi Alliance. Wi-Fi has become a universal expectation among college students and their attitudes towards technology are a good indicator of broad changes in how we as a society learn, work and communicate," Music Fest Quatro July 31, 2008, 7:21 am
MUSIC FEST QUATRO by: Alexii..... Glitz. Glam. Flamboyance. This year’s music fest has brought a delightful flavor in DC party scene. Indeed “counting one to four will never be the same again”. The musical prowess of brilliant Davao artists showcased their talents in their laudable performances. The music and the vibe could tell that it was a blast. The festive event paved a way for Davao talents to flaunt their musical expertise just exactly how a music fest should be. With the overwhelming response, July 25, 2008 is a date to remember. The venue was winded with DC party people craving for a red hot party. Jaw dropping, eye popping and body shaking presentation of Arspoetica, Street 5, Dj Sonny B, Dj torch, Dj fresh, Bandila Fusion, Madayaw Cultural Ensemble, El quinto drumbeaters, UP Jazz Ensemble and the Jammin' Grava...plus Ross Sevilla's fashion collection and the most awaited part, the launching of the newest lifestyle TV magazine show on South Spot Sky Cable channel 13 "Southern Style” parade right before their eyes. Cheers to 105.9 Mix Fm and Southern Style for another success, the sponsors who made this event possible and of course to the listeners who truly are the stars of the night. This isn’t the last; this is just the fourth of a thousand reasons why Mix Fm should continue to organize party like this to showcase Davao talents that are worth bragging for.
